About Pamodzigold

Pamodzi Gold Limited is a JSE listed South African junior gold mining company with assets on the Witwatersrand gold basin in South Africa.

The company is currently a 425koz per annum gold producer with a stated goal of becoming a 1 million oz pa gold producer in the next two years, through a dual strategy of acquisitions and organic growth by increasing tyhe life of mine of its core assets.

Pamodzi Gold has gold mining operations in the East and West Rand of Gauteng Province, Free State Province and North West Province in South Africa. . Pamodzi Gold aims to be a significant gold mining company by creating wealth and growth through innovative gold production.

Pamodzi Gold intends to become a 1 million oz per annum gold producer in the next 24 months. This will be achieved through a dual strategy of organic growth and acquisitions or joint ventures. The Orkney transaction and the President Steyn transaction are the first steps in achieving the company’s objective. In addition, the company has identified attractive acquisition targets which it intends to pursue and finalise with the next 24 months.

In the short to medium term Pamodzi Gold intends to leverage of its HDSA status, technical skill, access to capital and strategic location to:

  • become a preferred bidder for various non-core assets of the larger mining groups looking to gain additional Mining Charter points through disposing of assets to HDSA owned and controlled mining companies; and
  • consolidate the junior gold mining operations in south Africa through becoming the preferred empowerment partner (acquiring 26%) to mining companies needing to comply with the Mining Charter before the 1 May 2009 deadline.
