Pamodzi Gold was created through the merger between Bema Gold SA (Proprietary) Limited (“Bema SA”) and Middelvlei Gold Investments (Proprietary) Limited (“MGI”).

• Listing on the JSE – 11 December 2006
• 18 January 2008 - 1 million fatality free shifts on the East Rand Operations
• 27 February 2008 -President Steyn Gold mine from Thistle acquired
• 26 February 2008 - Orkney operation acquired from Harmony Gold Mining Company
• 12 May 2008 -Opening of Ndlovu Shaft on the East Rand
• Pamodzi Gold listed as a 135k oz producer, within 15 months a 425koz producer
